Red one penny definitive issue stamp of Eire with outline map of Ireland; to left halfpenny green Eire definitive of a monk at a carrel sheltered under the lower case E of Fire. Two circular cancellations "Murbhach/ ??/ ??/ 1947/ Co. Luimnigh" Addressed in blue ink to Mrs B.J. Cullen Farnham St., Cavan, from Maurice, requesting coupons to be sent on and apologising for not sending a proper letter. Pencil dealer's mark "£1".
