Postcard, colour matt, landscape format. View is set within a printed green wood effect frame, with title on frame at centre bottom "Main Street, Scariff". View along the street which curves off to the right; just right of centre is a single storey building with a polygonal metal? roof; at right is a house with shop front added which projects into pavement; at left is "M. Duggan" over a shop, with one person leaning against wall outside; up street are two or three carts and a man standing in the road.Reverse printed in black "Post Card" at centre top with T-shaped division below; up left edge "Guy & Co. Ltd., Limerick"; box for stamp at top right with "Processed in/ Prussia" reading up inside left edge. Not posted. In pencil at top left "44/ Clare" at top right "£9". Front top left corner creased.
