At centre a set of arms, white shield with vertical cross in red with five scallops superimposed and a trefoil leaf in green in top left corner; crest of a coronet with coroneted demi lion rampant. Above on scroll "Villiers School"; below Villiers motto "Fidei Coticula Crux" (the cross is the touchstone of faith), both in black with blue border; at left "1821" at right "1981". Blue edged rim. Hand painted under glaze. Reverse in ms. "Herbea lille/ fait main followed by "o" and a vertical line of 4 dots, over "63", in black. Stamped under glaze in pale blue, "26". Marks on glaze of kiln stand.
