Release, manuscript on parchment. Deed of release, dated 9th March 1723. Daniel Webb of Ballyvenoge (Maidstown), first part, Charles Carthy merchant of Dublin, second part, Dame Mary Osborne of Dublin third part, and Rev. William Smith Limerick City. Refers to earlier 1999.0016, Earl of Bellomont, Countess Dowager of Bellomont Earl of Grantham and George Cholmondely. Grant to Osborne of Ballinvrinny for £1000. One large sheet indentured across top edge and turned up at bottom. Shorter second sheet held inside turn-up; held together with red ribbon at four points at bottom, three of which bear seals and signed by the first three parts; the fourth has neither seal nor signature. Seals; Webb, a human figure, looks like skipping with a sheet,arced above head, motto unclear "?n Des...x"; Carthy, an urn of flowers; Osborne a Greek god. Witnessed on reverse, signatures of William Jessop, Simon Kent, William Garner, and J. Croker; receipt for £1000 signed by Webb and note that Memorial entered in Registry Office 9-7-1724. Folded in half laterally, twice, then from sides to middle and in half. Annotated as to contents on outside. Stamped "No.3" in magenta.
