Saucepan, Limerick silver. Small brandy saucepan by Jonathan Buck, c. 1735. Cauldron shaped bowl, with flat base; parrot's beak spout attached to rim. Handle attached below rim at right angles to spout, consists of a silver cylinder running to c. half the length with turned dark wood at the end, inserted into the collared socket of the silver portion and held with a silver rivet. Maker's mark struck twice on the base; "I B" in a rectangle with rounded corners, once clear, once with a worn "B". Inscribed on base "I/ R K", with letter I above space between the two lower letters.
