View along a street lined with shops; large building at left with shops either side of central arch; outside a man tending to horse in a cart, with group of people on pavement between horse and shop; further up street on left a large tree; blurred cart in street, with second to right by pavement; boundary wall of yard at right giving onto shops with group of people standing near telegraph pole in middle distance. Reverse printed in red; at centre top "Post Card" in ornate letters, with vertical division line below; to left "This space may be used for Inland/ correspondence."; to right "The Address to be written here". Box for stamp at top right. Unposted and unused. A small rounded section of left edge missing.
