"The last and Genuine/ Speech,/ Confession, and dying declaration of William Egan,/ who was executed at Gallows Green, near Limerick,/ for Burglary, on Saturday the 9th of November 1771." Printed by T. Welsh, Limerick. Egan aged 35, a Catholic, born near Thurles Co Tipperary, worked as porter in Mr French's Stores in Cork, fell to cards and drinking, moved into house breaking, met Mathias Slatery (Slattery) and was taken breaking Mr. Leo's House. Single sheet printed one side only; stains across upper edge. Framed
