Letter: ms form letter with blanks from Bishop of Killaloe, Clarisford House, 14 June 1820. Informs that intends to hold a confirmation on _ August next at _ o'clock in the parish church of _, and wishes recipient of bring all persons over 14 years of age in parish or union who is fit to be confirmed. In the meantime trusts that will not fail to instruct them in nature and obligations of baptismal vows as set in church cathechism; in the intent or the rite of confirmation; & in the engagement which by means of that rite they solemnly take upon themselves. Particularly requests that they be acquainted with the Order of Confirmation in the Common Prayer Bookso that they will be apprized beforehand of what they will be required to do & may be prepared to do it as it ought to be done. Recipient will be pleased to furnish each person whom thinks for to be presented with a ticket certifying that he has been examined and approved for confirmation, and will bring with in writing with his hand subscribed the names of all such persons. Has mentioned _ as the place from such information as can procure appears to suit convenience & that of parishoners. But should it be more convenient to take them or part of them to any other place where a confirmation is to be held, begs that will do so.
