View of side of convent seen along a drive, with main frontage at left, hidden behind large tree; roadway in foreground splits, with one way running straight another curving off left ro front. Reverse printed in black; "Post Card" at centre top, short double line T-shaped division below; "Communication" to left "Address Only" to right; box for stamp at top right, obscured by stamp. Red one penny Eire definitive issue stamp, with outline map of Ireland under an arch. Circular cancellation "Bru Na nDeise (Bruff)/ 12 VI/ 35". Addressed to Mrs. Donnelly, Kilbarrack House, Raheny, Co. Dublin, from Eithne; message describes journey down and plans for return, staying at convent. Pencil dealer's mark at centre top "£4.50".
