O/ in bottom two thirds; Jesus, at centre, as youth, haloed, his left hand on chest the right raised in blessing; to left Mary, both hands together in prayer, looking down at Jesus; right, Joseph his right hand on chest, left holding stem of lilies?; radiant dove above centre; around at top "Jesus Mary Joseph". R/ title around, at centre "Established/ by/ Pius IX/ April 1847", in smaller lettering at bottom "City Printing Co./ Limerick".
