Release, manuscript. Copy of release, dated 12 July 1920, between E.C.E Holmes (nee Sparling) and Christopher D. Sparling, in accordance with agreement about the administration of their father's estate. Signed by Ellen Christina Esther Holmes, witnessed Joseph Dodd, Lr. Mallow St, solicitor and his clerk John J. Bowles of 8 Thomondgate. Written on two sheets with wide blue ruled left margin and faint lines on one side only and held together with spilt fastener. Folded in half, and back used for copy of declaration, made by Joseph Dodds, to Chancery Court in regard of document, with Jos. Welsh signing for court.; folded in half again and outer side annotated as to contents, "Origl lodged in Land/ Regy" in pencil and at bottom "F.M. Fitt & Co., Solrs., Lower Mallow St. Watermark "T. Kilmartin & Son/ Legal/ Belfast".
