Cream jug, Limerick silver, by Joseph Johns c. 1735. Bowl with mid rib and large wide spout; central foot; wavy edge rim. C-scroll handle attached to inside of rim and to mid rib. Maker's marks, very worn, to either side of handle under rim; to left "I I" in a heart shape; to right same mark repeated with "Sterling" in a rectangle to left of it. Foot engraved "I P"and "6. 11".
