Postcard, b/w glossy, landscape format, untitled. Shows a funeral (Bobby Byrne April 1919?); taken from a first floor window on S. corner of William St., O'Connell St. looking down Sarsfield Street to show a British Army armoured car and company of British soldiers drawn up behind the crowds, at the corner a file of mourners is turning the corner between dense ranks of people paying their respects. Bottom left corner impressed "Lansdowne/ Art Studios/ Limerick". Reverse printed in black; "Post Card" at centre top with short division line below; "communication" to left, "Address only " to right. Unposted and unused. A small portion of the surface of the card is missing near the left edge at centre.
