Postcard, b/w glossy, landscape format, untitled. Shows a funeral (Bobby Byrne April 1919?); taken from a first floor window on S. corner of William St., O'Connell St.; a horse drawn hearse has just turned into William St., followed by a group of men carrying wreaths just turning the corner in front of a tricolour draped coffin followed by mourners; both sides of the street are densely lined with people paying respects, at left picture British army personnel. Bottom left corner impressed "Lansdowne/ Art Studios". Reverse printed in black; "Post Card" at centre top with short division line below; "communication" to left, "Address only " to right. Unposted and unused.
