"9 Patrick Street & 20 Ellen Street/ Stores, Carr Street/ Limerick, [space for date] 18 [space]/ Mr [followed by two lines for name and address]/ Bought of Michael Egan/ Wholesale/ Tea, Wine & Spirit Merchant." Filled out in the name of Ryan, Newport, and dated 3 June 1874. Lists two items to the sum of 2-7-5 and marked paid by W. Rui?hall. Signed across a Queen Victoria 1 penny lilac Inland Revenue stamp, queen's head inside an oval. Brown spotting at bottom and insect damage to bottom edge.
