Postcard, b/w glossy, landscape format, white margin around view. Title in bottom margin, "Main Street, Abbeyfeale". View shows O'Connor's shop with ornate Irish motif plasterwork at 1st and 2nd floor level, with one shop to right and a shop and two houses to left; in foreground in front of shops are two or three loaded carts and what appears to be a stall in street outside O'Connors, three people looking at camera. Message continues into bottom margin. Reverse printed in green "Post card." at centre top with T shaped division below; "Photo by J.F. O'Kelly" up left edge; left of centre, "This space may now be used/ for communication"; right of centre "For Address only". Green 1/2d postage revenue stamp of George V, first definitive issue with half profile portrait. Circular post mark "Abbeyfeale/ 12 15 PM/ FE 21/ 12" (21st February). Addressed to Miss Bidlaun Kelly, Main Street, Kildysart, Co. Clare, from Ellie OD; message, having dancing practice most evenings.
