Postcard, b/w glossy, landscape format, white margin around view. Title in bottom right of view "Sarsfield Bridge and River Limerick", with "R816" at bottom left. View taken at low tide from a height shows the bridge from the south, running across centre picture, Bishop's Quay and Harvey's Quay running up right of river; crane on river edge at centre foreground, two carts progressing towards bridge, a few scattered pedestrians. Reverse printed in brown; Valentine trade mark of a twin globe set on a V, with "Valentine's" above and "Famous/ Throughout/ the World" across the globe; "post" to left and "Card" to right of trade mark; vertical division line, "For Correspondence" to left and "For Address Only" to right; box for stamp at top right in which "Printed/ in/ Eire". Pencil dealer's mark below box "£4.50"
