View of the burnt out church behind a low stone wall with railings; posed on the wall are three soldiers, two standing on the wall either side of the third who is sitting holding a rifle, cigarette in mouth; at right a fourth male, civilian, is entering picture. Mount card has two perforations for insertion into an album and, on the edge of it is a printed address sticker of Malcolm Mitchell, black on white.
