B. Fitt, F.A.I. 46 George Street Limerick. 128 numbered pages, p.129 un-numbered signed by Wm. B. Fitt, plus fly leaf front and back plus binding page; each page a printed letter-head of Wm. Fitt. Watermarked paper, "Congress/ Extra Strong/ Fine Linen". Most of entries have four or five marks next to them added later, both to left and right, mostly ticks and crosses and the letter C, but some pencil marks seem to be coded prices. Circular embossing on fly leaf, "Richard Coughlan/ Collection" around "Copyright" at centre. Full leather binding, with marbled inside cover, gold printed title on front with family arms. Arms; three roaches, naiant in pale arg., a canton of the last; crest, osprey on a rock wings displayed holding a roach; supporters, dexter, a lion, erminois, gorged with a collar therefrom pendant an escutcheon with three roaches, sinister, a greyhound pean, gorged with a collar therefrom pendant an escutcheon with three roaches (Burke's Peerage has three lions here). Sticker inside cover, printed in gold on red "Guy & Co. Ltd./ Printers Stationers &c/ Limerick. Book is bound on short side to open upwards.
