Book, typescript, "Plassy, Limerick./ Re W.W. Bailey, Deceased/ Inventory of/ Household Furniture and Appointments/ Including/ Pictures, China, Silver, & Plated Ware &c./ also/ The Furniture of workmen's houses and outside effects./ Made & taken/ May 1911", by Wm. B. Fitt, F.A.I., 46 George Street, Limerick. 143 numbered pages plus 6 at front (2 blank, a title page, two contents pages and one page of remarks) and 7 at rear (first signed by Wm. Fitt remainder blank except for pencil doodles on next last, last torn out); each page initialled "WC" at bottom right corner in pencil. Watermarked paper; 1) "Swift Brook/ Unique/ Ledger" 2) crowned shield containing three lions ; to side "Royal/ Non Pareil/ Wove". Embossing on three of first un-numbered pages, "Richard Coughlan/ Collection" around "Copyright" at centre. On page inside cover an inscription in blue ink has been tippex-ed out. Full ox-blood colour leather binding with title on front in gold lettering, the front cover is loose. Several pages around p. 120 have the muddy imprint of a car tyre on them, and remarks page is muddied; pages 10 and 11 have been repaired with clear sticky tape.
