View shows the hotel from the opposite bank with canal in foreground, at centre is a cruise boat, while a speed boat at left has left two rowing boats bobbing in its wake. Reverse printed in black; at centre top an open book with "CC" on it rests on a four leaf clover, against a banner with "A Cardall" on it, with "Post" to left and "Card" to right; at bottom left "Published by Cardall Ltd.
