Postcard, colour matt, landscape format, white margin around view. Title at centre of bottom margin "Sea-weed for the Garden, Doonbeg, near Kilkee, Co. Clare, Ireland." View show a man in a cap leading a donkey cart laden with sea-weed with pitchfork sticking out, up a stone wall lined lane, with small cottages down the lane to the sea in the background. Reverse printed in black; at centre top "Post Card-De Luxe" with P & C in larger cursive script, "Carta Poist" below; "Printed in Ireland by Irish Printers Ltd." down centre as division; to right "For address only" with six lines of dots for address below; at bottom right "P.C." Color Card. No. 7". Two red 1d Eire definitive issue stamps showing outline map of Ireland under arch. Two circular post marks, identical "Baile Mor Na nIustasach/ 27 III/ 56". Addressed to Miss E.C. Weldon, Grants Farm, Longthorns, Wool, Wareham, Dorset, England, from ?B; message making arrangements.
