Postcard, b/w matt, portrait style, white margin across bottom. Title in centre of margin "Edward Daly" with "Photo; Keogh" at right. Portrait of Edward Daly in Irish Volunteers (Limerick Branch) uniform, seated with sword between his legs and wearing peaked cap. Reverse printed in brown; "Post Card/ British Throughout" at centre top with underlining and ornate T-shape division below; up left edge "Curran Publisher, Dublin"; left of centre "Correspondence"; right of centre "Address", box for stamp in top right corner. Blue mark at top right of centre "D/". Pencil dealer's mark in stamp box "£6.50". Two small fragments of sticky tape stuck to back. Unposted and unused.
