Reverse printed in black, with red rectangle at bottom left containing an outline map of Ireland on which Limerick is picked out with both a black dot and arrow; to right of rectangle "The city of Limerick stands on the site of an important/ ford of ancient times, where the Shannon River meets the/ sea. It is one of the most progressive of Irish cities and an/ important transport and industrial centre. The Treaty/ Stone is said to be the stone on which the Treaty of/ Limerick was signed in 1691.
