Galignani, at the French, English, Italian, German and Spanish Library, No. 18 Rue Vivienne. 311pp. plus preface i-xv by S.E. Book one "Of My Ancestors", fourteen chapters; book two "Of My own Times" twelve chapters. Full tan coloured leather binding with gilded floral design panels on spine and title in gold on applied black leather strip/patch. Leather worn at corners and at spine side of boards, slight staining of pages at top by spine. In pencil on title page below "written by Himself", "by Thomas Moore" and on fly sheet "Irish liter/ £24".
