Fir tree shaped outline, with raised edge and designs; at top an opposed pair of geese ascending, over a pair of cannon with pyramid of balls between; at centre the Treaty Stone, flanked by a feather in an ink-well on either side, scroll below engraved 1691. R/ engraved "Presented to/ Ald. Jim Kemmy T.D./ By the Building/ &/ Allied Trade Union/ in Commemoration of/ His Mayoralty of/ The City of Limerick/ 1991-92", with makers mark "MOD" at bottom next to hallmarks, Hibernia (Dublin), G (1992?), 9, .375. Suspension ring at top solid cast with medal, red silk? ribbon. Medal in presentation box which opens centrally to reveal the medal on its ribbon on a black velvet tray background, with artificial cloth red rose, with plastic stamens, pinned to ribbon; the box is lined with white silk? with printed card label on centre of each leaf, "Martin/ O'Driscoll/ Goldsmith/ Matthew Bridge,/ Limerick."; black imitation leather outer covering
