Medal, silver and gold; circular; cross form with shamrocks between the arms and with hole for suspension at top. Obverse; engraved shamrocks between the arms, interlace on the arms, at centre a gold boss in the form of a football. Reverse; engraved "Peil na nOg/ Luimni 70/ C-Sairsealaig", hall marked at bottom, row of four left to right, "L.B", Hibernia, Harp, "b" for 1969.
