Medal, silver; circular in outline; cross shaped with ball ended spikes between the arms, pierced for suspension at top with loop through hole. Obverse; three engraved shamrocks radiating from the centre in each of the arms, at centre gold disc with crossed hurleys and a sliothar engraved on it. Reverse engraved; "M.h. C'ship 51/ Treaty-Sarsfield" over hallmarks. Set of three hallmarks, Hibernia, Harp, and "I" for 1950; over "L.Bros"
