Medal, silver and enamel; Mayoral arms in enamel in a shield over "limerick", set on an open-work shield shaped surround with suspension ring at the top. Mayoral arms in red and yellow, motto in green. Reverse blank except for hallmarks; at left "J.M. Co.", at right set of three partially lost in open-work; Hibernia, a Harp?, "F" for 1947.
