Street sign, enamel on iron; "William St." English only; white lettering on blue background. with white frame around; patchy blue enamel on reverse. Holes at centre of each short side and at two points on each long side for attachment. Several chips out of the enamel. Maker's mark? to the left of the W; of ligatured letters T,P and L? inside a hexagonal shaped letter C.
