Postcard, b/w, glossy; white margin around the card; title across card "Greetings from Lisdoonvarna. In the form of a drawn hand holding out a shamrock, entering card from left; the title is around this on a black background; in the sleeve area is a view entitled "The Square, Lisdoonvarna" showing a street scene with a small enclosed garden area at front. Reverse printed in green; at centre top "Post Card"; up centre as division "Printed in the Republic of Ireland"; across bottom centre "Produced by Cardall Ltd. Dublin. Copyright Reserved"; to left of centre "Correspondence". If there was anything to right of centre it is obscured by stamps. Two red one pingin Eire definitive issue stamps showing outline map of Ireland, set sideways at top right. Each stamp cancelled in black, both reading the same "Lios Duin Bhearna" in outer ring "24 VIII/ 61" at centre. Addressed to Miss Hetty J? Langan/ The Elite/ 126 Upr Leeson St., Dublin from Agnes at Imperial Hotel; message home Friday weather good. Pencil dealer's marks "Clare" at top left and "75p" at bottom right of centre.
