Postcard, black and white, glossy; white margin around; title in bottom right of view "O'Curry Street, Kilkee, Co. Clare." with "R.1752" to bottom left. View along the street from pavement at left; four cars and two horse carts parked by right pavement and at left edge a woman standing in the gutter; single car against left pavement, three men on pavement passing a bicycle propped against the kerb and at front of picture left a woman walking towards camera cut at edge; a black and white dog is crossing the road in the foreground. Reverse printed in dark brown; at top "Valentine's" with under that two tangential globes superimposed on a large letter V, and "Famous/ throughout/ the world" on three banners across the globes; "Post" to left and "Card" to right of previous; vertical centre line below V; "For Correspondence" to left; to right "For address only"; box for stamp at top right in which "Printed in Eire". Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's marks at top left "Clare" and bottom left of centre "£6". At the four corners there are marks as though the card was once pasted to something.
