Postcard, colour, matt; in the form of a framed and mounted picture, with frame and picture embossed; title at centre bottom on a title plate set on the frame, "Hibernian Home Rule Meeting Glin." Frame green, mount white, central picture shows a large throng of people, largely male, in the street, with a row of shops and houses behind them leading down to the estuary in the background. Reverse printed in black; at centre top "Post Card", with short underlining and vertical division line below; up left edge "Guy & Co., Ltd., Limerick"; box for stamp at top right with "Processed in/ Prussia" up the inside at left. Unposted. Pencil message "Save this/ for me please/ Put em in my little drawer/ will you/ please." in address space. To left of centre in message space is "1918" in ball-point. Pencil dealer's marks "Lim" at top left and "£28" to left of centre towards bottom.
