View taken from c 50m up High Road looking straight across the bridge; the objects in the title are to left of centre, the right hand side is dominated by the pavement and overhanging tree, with two men leaning on a wall, a boy looking at camera, and two blurred girls moving towards camera; to the left there is a crowd of schoolboys sat around the base of the Treaty Stone and and both pavements of the bridge are busy with people, a blurred horse-drawn vehicle is just leaving the bridge; inset in the lower right hand corner of the picture are the arms of the mayor of Limerick, with red Milton trade mark to the left; trade mark is a head and shoulders portrait of a man with "Trade Mark" over and "Milton" under. Reverse printed in black; Milton trade mark at centre top, with "The Milton" to the left and "Post Card." to right; double division lines down centre; up left edge "The Milton "Glazette" Series No.2760 Woolstone Bros, Limerick E.C."; left of centre "For Communication this space/ may be used; to right "The address only to be/ written here."; box for stamp at top right in which "Printed/ at our works/ in/ Germany." Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's marks "Lim" at top left "£4 at bottom to left of centre.
