Postcard, b/w, matt; titled at bottom to left of centre, "Garryowen Football Club, Winners Munster Cup 1910-11". Shows a formally posed group around a seated suited gentleman with chain around neck and holding the cup between his knees, ?the mayor, Timothy Ryan?; three rows, front row of four on floor, middle row of 7 seated, back row of 8 standing; apart from the mayor and two suited men, one at either end of the back row, the remainder wear sports shirts, though not of a uniform colour; at right edge of picture is a drape/ curtain. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "Post Card" with an ornate underlining, and central division line below; to left of the P of Post is a shield with a lion rampant inside and a laurelled crown crest above; up left edge "Photo, Guy, Limerick."; left of centre " For Inland postage only./ This space may be used for/ Communication."; to right "The address only/ to be written here."; box at top right corner for stamp, in which "British Manufacture". Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's marks "Sport" at top left, "£20" to left of centre at bottom, and "IM" to right of centre at bottom.
