View shows the east end south wall and tower of the church behind railings, and taken from the opposite side of a road. Reverse printed in green; "Post Card" at centre top, with double underlining; double central division lines; up left edge "H. Norman, Rathkeale."; left of centre "This space may be used for Inland and Foreign/ Communication except to Japan and Spain./ (Post Office Regulation.)"; to right "The address only to be/ written here"; box for stamp at top right corner inside of which reads "Inland/ 1/2d./ Stamp/ Foreign/ 1d." Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's mark at top to right "[pound sign]1.50"
