Postcard, b/w, sepia toned, matt; margin around with title in centre bottom margin, "Recreation Hall, Mary Immaculate Training College, Limerick". View shows three sides of a large hall, the far end has a raised dais in front of three large windows; there is a wide double door at right of picture; within the body of the hall the walls are lined with two rows of bent wood chairs and along the centre of the room are four tables each with chairs around; the two side walls are hung with pictures and the whole effect is very spartan. Reverse printed in black; at top left is a monogram which reads either "WSC" or "SWC"; at centre "Post Card", with central vertical division line below; "11 30950*" to bottom right of centre. Green halfpenny postage revenue stamp of George V, full profile issue. Black circular cancellation over the stamp, reads "Limerick/ 3PM/ 21 SP/ 16/ 4". Addressed to Willie Keller, King Street, Loughrea, from Ag or Aq; message thanks for letter got the books, plus other news. Pencil inscription at top, to right of centre "[pound sign]2".
