Postcard, b/w, matt; white margin round; title in view at bottom left "Sarsfield Bridge and River, Limerick.", with "R.816" at bottom right. View taken from a height from the corner of Lower Cecil St. and Bishops Quay, showing the River with bridge to the left and Howleys and Harvey's quay to right; there is a crane on the quayside and the road is fairly empty with two carts and a few pedestrians, mostly in the distance. Reverse printed in grey; at centre top "Valentine's" with below that two tangential globes on a background of a large letter V, with "Famous/ Throughout/ The World" on three banners across the globes; "Post" to left and "Card" to right of previous; "Valentine's Postcards Copyright." up left edge; to left of central dividing line "For Correspondence" to right "For address only"; rectangular box for stamp at top right, with "Printed in Eire" below bottom edge. Unposted and unused. Dealer's pencil mark at top to right "[pound sign]1".
