Medal, gold; Thomond Feis 1937 awarded to P Scanlan. Circular with projection for suspension at top with one ring through the suspension hole. Obverse; at centre a shield showing three gold crowns on a blue enamel background, above shield on banner "Muma", and interlace flanking shield; outer ring filled with interlace pattern repeated eight times around the edge. Reverse engraved "Feis Tuadh Mumhan/ 1937"; hallmarked at bottom, to left "J & M Co." to right, Hibernia, "V" for 1937, and "9 .375".
