Postcard, colour, glossy, wavy edge to card. Untitled at front. View shows the block from Roches Stores to Cannocks, taken from a height on the diagonally opposite corner to Roches; green double-decker bus moving northwards down street, cars parked along the pavement outside Cannocks. Reverse printed in black: at bottom left "O'Connell Street Limerick, which extends for about/ three quarters of a mile and is crossed ar right angles by many/ wide streets."; at centre top a circle inside of which a leprechaun stands between two mushrooms with a crescent moon behind him, with "Leprechaun/ Series" around the circle; "Post " to left and "Card" to right of previous; down centre as division "Printed in Dublin for Leprechaun Publishers Ltd.": right of centre "Address" with five lines for address below, and below that at bottom "Leprechaun Card No 105". Green definitive issue 2 pingin stamp, with outline of Ireland under an arch inscribed "Eire" and with Celtic interlace on the pillars and shamrocks in the spandrels. Circular black cancellation, "Baile Atha Cliath"in outer ring, at centre "? 30 ??/ 13 VII/ 60 [or66]". Addresses to Mrs F, Matthews, 77 Oxmantown Road, Nth Cr. Road, Dublin, from Irene; message up in control tower at Shannon today, not as nice as ours!
