View shows the front of St. Saviours Dominican CHurch, with Taits clock to the right and wooden kiosk in street in front of the clock,; there are two people on the pavement to the left and for leaning against the church railings and four around the kiosk. Reverse printed in grey; at centre top "Valentine's Series/ Famous/ throughout/ the/ World/ Printed in Scotland" with the word throughout printed across two tangential globes showing the continents; up left edge "Valentine, Dublin". Green halfpenny postage revenue stamp of George V, definitive issue, profile head, at top right. Cancellation runs across card, six parallel black lines with at centre oc card "Limerick/ 10 ??/ 20J 18". Message dated 19/1/18, addressed to Mrs. G. W. ?????, 19 Grove Road, Easton, Portland, Dorset, from here husband, will write letter tomorrow. Pencil inscriptions "Lim" at top left, "[pound sign]3" at bottom centre.
