Postcard, colour, matt, titled at bottom left corner "Adare Co. Limerick". View of streetscape, as seen from across a green in the centre of which is a large tree, in leaf, from which a large branch has fallen. Reverse printed in green; "Post Card" at centre top, double underlined and with double dividing lines below; "Lawrence, Dublin" up left edge; "This space may be used for inland and Foreign/ communication except to the United States, Japan, and Spain (Post Office Regulation)." to left of centre; The address only to be / written here" to right; rectangular box for stamp at top right reads "Inland/ 1/2d./ Stamp/ Foreign/ 1d." and "Printed in Germany" down the outer right edge of the box. Posted but stamp omitted, possibly because a child has sent it; circular cancellation "Roscrea/ 9.15 PM/ Au 24/ 08" with a large black postage due? cancellation "1d". Addressed in a childish hand and in black ink, to Miss K Kelly, Montrose, Donnybrook, Dublin; from Sinead and Una wishing her a happy birthday.
