Postcard, sepia, matt; taken from a book of cards, perforation down left side. White margin around picture, titled in margin bottom left "Bishop's Island, Kilkee" Picture shows a flat topped island with cliffs all round. Reverse printed in grey; centre top an oval with the word "SEries" printed over "RA", with "The seal of artistic/ excellence" printed around the oval; vertical centre line; "POST/ CARD" either side of oval; "For Correspondence" at top left; up left margin "Published by KENT'S Cafe, 26 O'Curry Street, Kilkee, Co. CLare","; "The R.A.P. Co. Ltd., London, E.C.4" at bottom left; rectangular box for stamp at top right, in which "Printed in England". Unposted and unused. Dealer's pencil marks "829/ L/CL" at top left; "CLare" top right; "Mur" bottom left ; and price centre right.
