Postcard, colour, glossy. White margin around picture; text in bottom margin reads, "Bunratty Castle" The view of the castle is taken from across the river, with Durty Nellies pub in front and the old bridge to the left. Printed in black on reverse; "SP221" at top left; at bottom left "Bunratty Castle, Co. Clare. A castle has standing on this site since/ 1251 and the present building which dates from 1425 was once/ the home of the O'Briens of Thomond. The castle now plays host/ to visitors attending medieval banquets", with "Photography: Peter Zoller" below. Trade mark at centre top "Insight" followed by a triskele, both in white in a black rectangle, with "Ireland" below in black. Rectangular box for stamp at top right, five lines for address below. Bottom right, copyright sign followed by "Insight Cards Limited/ Crescent Road, Rogerstown, Rush, Co. Dublin, Ireland/ Telephone 01-438844. Unposted and unused.
