Postcard, sepia and white, matt. Entitled at bottom right " Thomond Bridge, Limerick ". The view from north of the bridge on the Clare side, shows six spans of the bridge, with King John's Castle, Toll House , St. Mary's behind its line; in the foreground the river is at low tide and two young children stand on the exposed mud flat; near the western span two rowing boats are moored in the river while a third is visible near the opposite shore; four houses in Verdant Place are visible running to the left margin. The reverse is printed in brown " POST CARD." at top centre underlined with a double vertical line running from it; to the left of the line "Communication" and "Lawrence, Dublin. Copyright" up the left margin; to right "Address"; rectangular box for stamp at top right corner, "Stamp" in Middle. Unposted and unused. Pencil mark, dealer's, "LIM" at top left corner.
