Postcard, b/w, matt; Heley's Ltd. Dublin. Captioned at bottom in black pen "The Old Castle Glin Co. Limerick". View of a stream/river with two closely spaced stone bridges over it; the ruins of a rectangular tower-house stand at the left end of the furthest bridge, while a second ruin is visible to its left among some trees; to the right of picture is a row of cottages running parallel with the river between the bridges. Four men are standing on the furthest bridge, one of who has what may be a fishing rod. The photo was taken in late autumn/winter because all the trees are bare. The reverse is printed in red; centre top "POST CARD" in ornate script with a vertical line below; to right of line "The address to be written here"; to left "This space may be used for inland Correspondence" and "Heley's Limited, Dublin" up the left margin. Rectangle for stamp at top right. The card is unused and unposted.
