Postcard, b/w, matt, entitled "R.C. Church Foynes. Co. Limerick". Lawrence. The picture fades out at the bottom of the card to leave the title space; printed in sepia. The view, from the east, shows the church on the left, with the main street of Foynes occupying the centre and right of frame. Several people are walking along, some on the pavement, some in the street, and two donkey carts are moving towards the camera. The reverse is printed in sepia, with "POST CARD" at centre top with a wavy vertical line below. TO the right of the line reads "The address only to be written here"; to the left "This space may be used for communication for Inland Postage and Foreign Countries, except Japan, Spain and United States."; and Lawrence, Publisher, Dublin" up left margin. The card is unused and unposted.
