Postcard, colour, matt. titled "Treaty Stone, King John's Castle, Limerick" starting at top left of picture. View from the corner of Thomondgate and Clancy Strand, showing the Treaty Stone, with the Castle Barracks in the background. A life-belt hangs from a lamp-post on the end of the bridge. The south-west corner tower of the castle is cut at right of picture; at left is Castle Street running up to meet Nicholas St. The only people in the picture are distant figures on Thomond Bridge. The reverse is printed in black; "POST CARD" at top centre with vertical line below; "For Correspondence" to the left of line; "The address only to be written here" to right of line; rectangular frame, dotted line, at top right in which reads "Series 2513". The card has not been used or posted. Three sets of pencil marks, dealers marks.
