Postcard, colour matt. Front inscribed "O'Connell Street, Limerick. 1387"; with white border round the view. View looking north along O'Connell St. from just above Cecil St, with Cannock's clock encased in scaffolding. There are several cars parked along the pavement, one driving away from the camera, one heading towards it, and one turning into the street from right of picture; all would appear to fit into the late 1940s or 1950s. There are numerous pedestrians and several cyclists, including a woman heading towards the camera at front right. On the right of picture is a vertical shop sign reading "N. Fine". The reverse is printed in dark brown, with "POST CARD/ Printed in Gt. Britain" at top centre, with a vertical line below; and "Correspondence" to the left of the line and Address to the right. Several pencil inscriptions, all of which seem to be dealers marks. The card has not been used or posted.
