Ceramic whiskey jar, stoneware. 1 gall. Transfer print, in black, above shoulder "David Begley, Tea, Wine & Spirit Merchant, 36 William St, Limerick". Flat bottomed, increasing in diameter to the shoulder, short neck with wide flat rim. Strap handle rising from the shoulder, above rim, turning to join the body at base of neck. Clear glaze over lower half, brown speckled glaze on rim handle and down to the shoulder. Oval maker's stamp next to top of handle reads "Curwen Bros Liverpool". Cracked from maker's mark to base and chip out of rim
